“An Afternoon of Opera” will treat audience members to some of the most beloved moments in opera, as well as to some of the lesser known gems in the operatic repertoire. The concert, featuring three stellar vocal soloists, will include arias, duets, and trios from Rigoletto (Verdi), Roberto Deveraux (Donizetti), Lakmé (Delibes), Werther (Massenet), West Side Story (Bernstein), and Norma (Bellini), among others.
Admission to the Saint Andrew Music Society's Music on Madison concerts is by suggested donation at the door: $20 ($15 Students/62+); children 12 & under: free.
Join us as we reprise Mahler’s astounding 8th Symphony from earlier in our season. In the place of an orchestra, this performance will feature the world premiere of a new organ transcription by David Briggs.
